Bre'Anna Bivens is a proud Houston, Texas native, multi-disciplinary artist, and Online Editor for Burrow Press.

She is a two-time Pushcart Prize nominee, 2024 A Public Space Fellow, and her work has been published in Guernica, Apricity Press, and is forthcoming elsewhere.

Through her research, Bre’Anna explores her Apostolic faith, Black temporalities and pluralities. By transcending conventional notions of genre, she hopes her work provokes the senses, and repositions her audience to consider the interiority of Black lives in full tonality and hue.
