Anuja Ghimire is a Nepali poet who became an adult in America. She has published two books of poetry in Nepali. Her chapbook Kathmandu was published in 2020 by the Unsolicited Press. Anuja writes poetry, flash fiction, and creative nonfiction. Assistant poetry editor for Up the Staircase Quarterly, Anuja is a Best of the Net and Pushcart nominee. She works as a senior editor for an online education company, teaches poetry to children at summer camps, and edits newsletters for the Nepali community. Anuja lives near Dallas, Texas with her husband and two daughters.
